The General Federation of Women’s Clubs (GFWC) is united in its dedication to volunteer community service. The GFWC International Day of Service brings together clubs from around the world to stand united against domestic and sexual violence.
GFWC creates and leads education, public awareness, and service projects for club members and local citizens at the community level; collaborates with national domestic violence networks and organizations; supports existing activities and established programs; advocates for victims and survivors; and provides educational opportunities to survivors.GFWC aims to be a powerful voice for victims and survivors.

NEW OPPORTUNITY — JUST CONFIRMED
UNDER the TENT Awareness Campaign at Farmer’s Market – October 25, 2025 from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm in two-hour shifts – Planned with Night Owls and all CSPs
YOU ARE INVITED to join us under our tent at the Farmer’s Market to speak with shoppers and distribute a unique, take-home flyer with national and NC statistics, resources for help and information, as well as safety tips and tools!! Our intent is to make an impact on the plight of sexual violence in our nation and state to motivate wide-spread awareness, informed sharing and immediate desire to take preventive actions to end sexual violence!!
We will conduct three two-hour shifts with two or more volunteers starting at 9:00 am and ending at 3:00 pm. (9 to 11, 11 to 1, 1 to 3) wearing our Woman’s Club of Raleigh aprons and our clothesline filled with statistics banners.
